How do you keep depression out of your life? Read along and learn more about Natasha’s experience and tips about it. Thank you for writing to my site.
Have you been struggling with depression and/or avoiding therapy like the plague because you’re scared? Well, you shouldn’t be because therapy is such a great tool to help you get out of depression and move forward to meet your goals.
Nevertheless, in the meantime, this blog is going to help you either combat depression and/or keep depression out of your life through the power of the present.
First things first, who am I to help you reach your goals?

My name is Natasha Gisela, and I overcame a 5-year chronic: where I simply don’t remember a thing from my life. There are bits and pieces that I remember, like my constant gut problems and my birthday with my sister at the Orlando mall during COVID, and going to Disney feeling upset about my business growth but other than that it was a lot of moments of feeling unsure about myself and my capabilities ‘to make it’ in the real world.
Not only that I had a 67-pound weight gain; and I knew that was not who I wanted to be or become. Don’t believe me see for yourself-what my Confidently Healthy life created.
This ‘weight loss was more like a mental and emotional releasing depression and here I’m going to help you to create a healthier life: mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Keep Your Promises to Yourself
There is something about saying you’re going to do something and doing it. Unfortunately, depression and that mental fog keep you from moving forward sometimes but you have to develop the willpower to push forward and say this is what I have set out to do and create daily action steps to do it.
I want you to look back at your life and see all the people you have come across; how many people have said something and not accomplished the thing they have said they were going to do? Or even attempted? Do not let that be you-you start small, think big. ALWAYS.
How do you start? As you can my foundation is a health, mindset, and beauty blogger. The best way is to work out daily and consistently for the rest of your life by changing who you are. You will be sore; you will be tired but it will all be worth it because you will be healthy, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually.
Best part? No one can take it away from you.
Take things day by day
Rome wasn’t built in a day so don’t expect your dream life to be built in 6 months. What kept me in depression was constant comparison mode and the income they made: not even asking myself if what they were saying was true or not?
I teach this inside my online program Confidently Healthy a bit more in-depth: however; to pass by it you must focus on the most profitable thing that will bring you closer to what you want daily FIRST.
Gratitude and Happiness Practice
Going back to number two, I would have avoided a lot of turmoil if I did this in the first place; practice gratitude and happiness.
Each morning; ask yourself what are you happy with (in the present moment?) What are you grateful for (in the present moment)?
I say it either verbally or write it down. I like to write mine down so that way my kids can look back on it when I pass after creating the things I have created.
This practice helps to reframe the mind and helps you focus on the things in the now.
Check out Promptly journals and get your gratitude books or Self-love journals.

Take Daily actions toward your goals
Because things can and will always get better when you take daily and committed actions toward your goals.
I was feeling myself is self-pity one day: hating my life situation and then I saw a quote on Instagram-If you don’t like where you’re at, move you’re not a tree. So I did, I started taking action to what I wanted; daily and consistently to start achieving the dream life I desired.
Look at what you want and are a bit envious of and start taking small daily action each day to get there but you must be consistent.
Meditate for 15 minutes a day
The last thing you need to work on is mediation and I mean mediation daily-this works when your brain is having brain fog, overworked, stressed out, or even wants to connect with your spirit guides.
It is that simple!
Now if you need some help in the morning to combat your depression to get you out of bed try this simple quick get ready morning routine.
