1. Decide Your Budget
The first step in planning a perfect wedding is to decide your budget. After all, your budget will decide how your wedding is going to be. While deciding on your budget, make sure to involve your partner to make decisions regarding venue, decoration, guest list, etc.
When deciding on your budget, don’t forget to add the cost of your bridal outfit, makeup, accessories, and nail appointments. Also, if you desire to make it a spectacular event using fireworks, you need to plan the same when setting your budget.
Once you’ve decided on a budget, it’s time to hunt for the right wedding venue, food menu, and overall decoration that fits in.
Also, you can involve both families to discuss a budget and decide how the marriage should be.
Create a realistic budget
Creating a realistic budget is essential to planning a stress-free wedding. Before you start researching venues, dresses and vendors, figure out exactly how much money you have to spend.
Then set parameters for yourself and try to stay within those boundaries as much as possible throughout the planning process. That way, you’ll be able to focus on enjoying your day without worrying about going over budget.
2. Create Your Guest List
Once you’ve decided on your budget, it’s time to book the wedding venue. But before that, you need to create a guest list. This is a crucial step that’ll save you from a lot of frustrations and headaches.
Once you know how many guests are attending your wedding, it will be easier for you to look for venues that accommodate everyone.
3. Shop Early
To streamline the wedding planning process, it’s always better to shop early for your outfits. It is wise to shop for your wedding attire for at least 7-8 months before your big day.
Most brides often prefer to shop online for bridal outfits. While shopping online is great, you need to consider the delivery time and the alteration required if any.
Once you’re done with your outfit, make sure to choose the right bridal jewelry that compliments your overall look. From the Riera Earrings to the Alicante Choker Necklace, you can find tons of jewelry options online and pick the ones that suit your outfit.
4. Pick Out Several Dates
When you’re booking your venue, it’s always better to keep 2-3 dates in mind. For example, if you’re planning a wedding on a particular date and that date is booked for someone else, it will leave you frustrated.
So, when booking the venue, consider the popularity of the date and whether the date is difficult for your guests to attend your wedding or not.
5. Meet Vendors In Person
Now here comes the most important tip. You need to meet the vendor in person to know how well he/she is planning for your big day.
Even a video call for a few minutes will give you insight into what’s going on. If the vibe isn’t here, consider changing your wedding planner.
6. Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities
When it comes to planning a wedding, some tasks can easily be handled by others. Friends and family are often more than happy to help out with things like addressing invitations, picking up cake samples, and making travel arrangements.
Assign tasks that you know someone else can handle, allowing you the chance to relax and enjoy the engagement process instead of feeling overwhelmed.
7. Hire an experienced wedding planner

Utilizing the help of a wedding planner can provide a bride with the peace of mind of knowing that someone with expertise and experience is capable of handling all the aspects of planning the wedding.
Trust in their skills and let them handle everything, so you are free to take care of things like making sure you look beautiful on your special day!
8. Schedule stress-reducing breaks and mini-vacations throughout your planning process
Scheduling regular breaks or mini-vacations after accomplishing milestones can help brides manage stress levels and stay focused throughout their wedding planning journey.
Take time to breathe and unwind by taking a day trip with your partner or close friends, plan a spa weekend for yourself and your bridesmaids, or explore activities like yoga and meditation for relaxation.
Doing so will keep your spirits high and reduce wedding-related anxieties.
9. Take time to relax and unwind with your fiance each week leading up to the wedding day
Spending quality time with your partner is one of the best ways to keep calm and connected during the wedding planning process.
Allot at least one night a week for the two of you to spend time together without talking about wedding details, or if you’re having difficulty unwinding take a weekend off-site as a couple.
This will give you time to relax, reconnect, and recharge before jumping back into your wedding planning.
