It’s only July but I’m already set to talk about my favorite fonts for Halloween. With Halloween fast approaching, I thought I’d talk about the preparations needed and share my favorite fonts because, without the right fonts, the party might not manage to get that extra scary look.
Welcome to my monthly favorite series where I feature products that I love for the month, whether it’s for personal growth like online courses, business tools I use for blogging, or valuable products that change my life. My latest is the Tsuki summer collection from Notebook therapy. In the post, I shared three things I love about the journals and washi tapes and why you should get copies too to start your journaling journey.
It’s always fun to decorate for holidays and Halloween won’t be scary and spooky without good fonts. Halloween is drawing near and here are my top 5 fonts for Halloween.

Where to get Fonts for Halloween
Finding great and unique Halloween fonts is a treat but it can be a daunting task for anyone. There is a vast array of them on the internet and the options are endless but I found my favorite website. Font Bundles offer premium and free fonts for crafters and creatives. It is a place to find fonts not just for Halloween, but also Christmas, birthday, and pretty much everything.
The best thing about them is that they offer premium fonts in bundles hence they are called Font bundles.net I know creatives need as many resources as they can get to produce great results. But buying a lot of fonts can cost you a high price too. The best thing you can do is to invest in bundles. You get fonts and save money at the same time.
Here are 5 fonts I plan on using this Halloween season
My favorite Halloween fonts are based on my intuition and the message I want to convey. I teach in elementary schools and the school year will not be complete without a Halloween party for the kids. They love to put on costumes, decorate the classroom, play games and do trick or treat.
1. Devil Tail
Devil tail font begins and ends with a swash of devil which is perfect for any Halloween event. I plan to use this in my invitation card for the kids and as a decoration in the classroom. The font goes really well with bright red and orange.
2. Ghostly
I love Ghostly because it is quirky and I can use it for the kid’s worksheets. I also like the design and might use it for home’s Halloween party
3. Yikes
Yikes font is a part of a bundle. Purchasing a font bundle is a great way to save money as I have said earlier.
4. Candy Corn
Candy corn too is in a bundle. You have 8 premium fonts to choose from and Candy corn is my favorite. Would you use this font at your parties?
5. Scary vampire
Scary vampire is on the list too as it is a bloody font. It’s perfect for any spooky events you’re planning. I will be using this for my PowerPoint presentations for the kids. It’s really fun to use fonts that add extra spookiness.
Do’s and Don’ts on Halloween fonts
Working with decorative fonts can be a pleasurable thing and at the same time challenging. There are several things you will need to consider to use Halloween fonts successfully. Blurb gives the best advice for what you should do and not do when choosing Halloween fonts.
First of all, know what mood you are trying to convey and trust your intuition to pick the best fonts. It is best to narrow your options. It will make decision-making a lot easier. Also, it is always good to choose heavy and bold fonts, especially with dark backgrounds. Most of the fonts I chose are bold and heavy
Avoid choosing over-stylized fonts and that is hard to read. I prioritize legibility when choosing fonts because of my students. A design is considered bad when the texts are unreadable even if they are so stylish.
