Norse Organics, a Norwegian skincare company, uses rare Arctic plants and beeswax to kill acne bacteria and prevent future acne with their Kill Acne & Redness Ritual. Since launching in January 2024, they claim to have helped over 100 000 customers. In my honest review on Norse Organics’ Acne Killer, I’ll take a look at their product line and what users are reporting back.

Disclosure: This is a paid/ collaborative post. But all thoughts are my own.

What Makes Norse Organics Different?

It’s undeniable that the skincare industry is crowded. What separates Norse Organics from all the other companies with acne-related products is their unique ingredients and production method, combined with the lack of side effects.

As their name suggests, Norse Organics is committed to producing 100% natural products, devoid of chemicals. Their ethos aligns with growing concerns around traditional acne treatments, which come with a host of known side-effects.

Another noteworthy mention is their 60-day money back guarantee. Should the product not clear your acne, they offer a 60-day money back guarantee, with no questions asked.

What Do Customers Say About Norse Organics?

Norse Organics have an overwhelming number of positive reviews across their website, social media and platforms like Reddit and Trustpilot. Reviews like, “After just 1 week of use, I can tell you it’s the best topical acne treatment I’ve ever used (and I’ve used a lot). Even more effective than Accutane in my 20’s” are in abundance. There is even a TikTok video making its rounds for clearing acne in just 9 days!

We checked in on a customer, Jess, who tried Norse, to get her honest review after using the Acne and Redness Ritual for two weeks. Jess mentioned that she learned about Norse Organics through her 18-year old son. He’d had tremendous success. So despite being marketed to men at the time, Jess was happy to give it a try. After suffering with acne for decades, she had nothing to lose.

Day 1 Update

The Acne and Redness Ritual included three products: a face scrub, acne killer and 6-in-1 daily balm. Jess explained how she really wanted this ritual to work, so she followed the instructions carefully. After 24 hours, she noticed absolutely no change and felt a bit disheartened. Her son persuaded her to be patient and keep going.

Day 3 Update

Day three and Jess writes ‘no new active breakouts!’ ‘My skin took a little while to adapt to the minimal face washing. It felt a little oily to begin with, but interestingly I did not have a single new pimple’ she explains.

Day 5 Update

Jess explains that she got into a good rhythm of applying the acne killer daily and by day 5,  “I would say, ‘80% acne free.’ ‘Just a few spots on my chin’ she adds. She then started to notice a reduction in redness, ‘my skin was definitely starting to look less angry and inflamed’.

Day 14 Update

“Two weeks in and the results have been mind blowing.” Jess adds that even her friends have commented and asked what’s changed – not only because her skin is glowing, but also because of her new found confidence. Jess admits, she’s less strict about the routine now and sometimes forgets the odd application. Despite this she’s still acne-free!

The Verdict on Norse Organics

Reviews like Jess’s are not unique. It appears that Norse Organics have managed to make a system that works for more than 90% of people. Their customers have a 97% success rate on their Kill Acne & Redness Ritual, according to their customer surveys. For teens and adults with light, moderate, severe, cystic, hormonal, and body acne, such as blackheads, whiteheads, rosacea, scars and more, it certainly seems worth the try! Their 60-day money back guarantee makes Norse Organics, no risk and all reward!

I’m 40 and have never really had acne only a couple bumps here and there .. Out of nowhere a couple months after turning 40 I started getting bright read patches and bumps on my cheeks , spots on my forehead and chin .

I was so frustrated, it was not going away – I had been seeing the Norse organics advertised all over social media, I bought it in hopes it would work .

First the scrub – I used only a small amount – it sliced up my face – that was not good . The acne killer and redness cream did nothing for me – they seemed to make things worse each time I applied . My face was getting worse and the inflammation was very uncomfortable and also seemed to be progressing.

The product seemed to block my pores as if it were made of candle wax . It was like my skin could not breath: (note – I barely put any product on it – then it started visibly clogging my pores – so I stopped using it completely .

I booked and appointment with an online Dermatologist

    and I researched probiotics –

I’m using a 2 step system Korean face wash

2 cream prescribed by the dermatologist to apply to the affected spots
    Azelaic Acid 15%
    Metronidazole gel

(My dermatologist also prescribed ivermectin cream but I haven’t picked it up yet

I’m using aveeno oat gel facial cream – often keep it in the fridge – before applying

Along with the above routine I do colloidal silver treatments on my skin and am taking 2 very good probiotics

The products the dermatologist called in are working very well . And I’m relieved

I wanted to share this in case anyone needed it .

My son tried it and after 2weeks his face was the worse it ever had been . He said his face was numb aswell as bright red and an exploded break out. He stopped and after a couple of days it thankfully is calming down and he has the feeling back in his face. We looked and getting our money back but you have to take it for 60days to get a refund. No way was he going to continue . Don’t buy it in my opinion it’s all hype and marketing and a disgrace to pray on the vulnerable.

I was also skeptical about it because I have tried everything under the sun including accutane twice. My skin has changed as I’ve gotten older and I’ve been on pretty much constant cycles of antibiotics for acne, rosacea, and perioral dermatitis for years. It’s the only thing that kind of worked. My dermatologist pretty much told me this is how it had to be despite some unpleasant side effects.

I’ve been using Norse Organics for two weeks hoping it would work because I really need to stop taking antibiotics. So far it’s been working incredibly well, my skin has been clearing, and if I start to break out I put the Acne Killer on it which usually stops it in its tracks. The awful redness of my nose is gone, it’s very gentle on my hypersensitive skin, and it leaves you with a healthy glow. It doesn’t clear you overnight but it works.

I hope it continues to work because it is so nice using half of the face makeup I used to use out of being self conscious and my skin doesn’t hurt anymore. I still wear sunscreen and makeup for work, but I have been religious about following all of the other steps they recommend.

I would suggest you ditch the dermatologist. I was dealing with some bad rosacea for awhile and they never helped me, just told me in was apart of my age groups. I did ivermectin cream for aprx 2-3 months and it’s completely gone. I’ve also been using this product line, well the Norse lineup but it’s essentially the same stuff and it’s actually helped with repairing my moisture barrier! I’m not big into having to use a ton of products so it works for me. Hope this helps!

I’m definitely a real person, I’m 54 and get bad hormonal breakouts and blackheads. I actually started the product less for acne but more for the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles and redness along with age spots. I’ve been using the product for about a month now and I will tell you I have seen a huge difference. My skin tone is much more even, Pores are drastically, reduced, I have less breakouts on my chin and a general tightness to my skin, which makes it feel and look much healthier and frankly younger. I have had more than one person compliment me on my skin.

My daughter is now on her 3rd full week and to be honest I really can’t see any difference. I was loath to spend this much money on something but as there was a special offer on I thought I’d give it a try (still cost me £77 for the acne killer trio) so this is really disappointing. I was hoping it would be the one that work wonders as so many seem to claim but unless it changes in the next week or two, it’s not working. Do they really give you your money back if this is the case?

    Trustpilot says about them:

    “May use unsupported invitation methods
We’ve detected that this company may be asking for reviews in a way that Trustpilot doesn’t support. This can lead to bias and compromise the reliability of reviews.”

Hi Ali, as many people don’t know, Norse organics is a SCAM. They fakely advertise themselves as this miraculous brand but in fact reviews from REAL people show the opposite. They have bought thousands of bots to “rate” the products but it’s so obvious once you do a little bit of research. If you want your website to be trustworthy I think you should do a little more reserach before recommending a brand that can cause damaging results on peoples’ skin and steal their money.

Hi Peter, Thank you for your comment and for the warning. I will look into it. Did you try it yourself and did not get the results you wanted?

        Hi Ali!
I actually am using the three acne killer ritual at the moment – I think it is working wonders on my skin! I am aware of the gentleman’s comment above mine and certainly don’t want to ignore it, but wanted to leave this comment with it so you know although maybe it seems there are some bots who are reviewing it in a fake manner, I am a real person and it certainly works for me at least :)
        Have a nice day!

No it is not a scam. My daughter uses it and it has worked like a miracle on her skin. Plus the products smell good and the routine is so simple. She loves it!

I’m tempted to agree with you. I was looking into purchasing it for my grandkids. I noticed on their website there are pictures supposed reviewers attached to their review. A few of them “before and after” are not the same kid. It’s is so easy to tell as the mouth and eyes are way different. Right there gave me pause so I started to research and found this. It’s unfortunate but I will continue to look for other products for my grandkids.
