Journaling is one of my favorite ways to control my emotions and understand my thoughts. It is a place for me to confess my struggles, anxieties, and fear without judgment. One thing I always notice after transcribing my thoughts into paper is that the world seems to be clearer. Although we can do a lot of things with a blank notebook, journaling is my favorite. And today I’d like to share my favorite for the month of June, give a Notebook therapy review, and why I love the set.
This month I got to try a bullet journal from Notebook Therapy. They sent me over the Tsuki Endless Summer collection which is inspired by the Japanese beautiful flower, Hydrangea. This flower (Ajisai in Japanese) is the sign of the Rainy reason here in Japan and it is adored as much as cherry blossoms (sakura) and autumn-colored foliage (Koyo). I am so excited to share with you why I love the set and How I use it. I will also be giving some tips on how to do bullet journaling and what to fill the bullet journal.
About the Tsuki `endless summer’ collection

As mentioned above, the set is inspired by summer rainfall and the blooming hydrangea season in Japan. They start blooming from early June to mid-July. I am more than grateful to experience this season and attend festivals to view Hydrangea flowers. If you like nature like me you will love to visit parks, gardens, and temples where many Hydrangea blooms.
The bullet journal is available in two colors, Petal blue, and Lilac Bloom. You can choose from three sizes, the original, A5 or A4. I love the high-quality leather cover and back storage pocket with a free gift.
The collection also includes a Pop-up pencil case. A lot of my students in elementary schools were fascinated when I showed them my beautiful floral pencil case and they all said Kawaii which means cute.
The last item from the collection is the washi tape set. It has gold foil patterns and cute sticker sheets which are perfect for bullet journaling, scrapbooks, and calendars.
Things I love about TSUKI ‘ENDLESS SUMMER BUNDLE

I love the designs and their inspiration. The Hydrangea is a popular flower in Japan along with cherry blossoms. It is one of my favorite flowers, so I just had to get the set. Although the flowers don`t bloom in Spring, it is still loved and adored by most Japanese people. There are over 100 varieties of hydrangea colors, but my favorites are blue, purple, and pink. I love the gorgeous covers of the notebook and bright colors.
On the last page of the journal is a quote: hydrangea flowers, known as endless summer, first bloom in June with the arrival of the rainy season in Japan + their delicate beauty lasts until the first frost.
Paper quality The pages are thick (160GSM) and soft, but not slippery. Of all the notebooks I have had in the past this is the thickest paper so far which is great because when you do bullet journaling, the first thing to consider is thick and quality paper. I love that the paper is dotted. It`s just a personal preference. The dotted paper makes my writings and drawings better. The Paper is as white as snow and the dots are not that noticeable, which is great.
Soft vegan leather cover The covers of the journals are very and smooth. It has pearl gold lines which adds a little bit of luxury. It also has gold gilding on the edge of the paper which looks deluxe. On the first page, you can fill in your name for belongingness. I also love the bookmark and the cute stickers that come with it. Actually, I just love everything about the set.
What to fill my Bullet Journal?
It can be overwhelming to start a bullet journal, from choosing the best notebooks, best materials and stationery to use, and most especially what to write. I remember when I started bullet journaling, I almost gave up even before using half of my notebook. I needed the inspiration to start with and I just did not know what else to fill my notebook. You can start with these:
- Monthly cover page
- Use as a planner
- Track something in your journal – Mood tracker
- Habit trackers – your water intake, exercise and study habits
- Gratitude log or Gratitude journal
- Weekly reset. Write your wins, and reflect on your week
- Copy inspirational quotes
- write everyday
- Expense list
- write or draw what feels right
