Well, if there is one undeniable truth about relationships, it is that they evolve over the course of time. It may be for the better or the opposite. Yet this does not mean that we cannot turn things around. As one American author once said, “Love is a two-way street constantly under construction.” Thus, here are some fun things to do as a couple to keep our relationship flourishing and as passionate as ever.

Here are fun activities for couples
1. Breakfast in bed
This may sound impractical to do on a daily basis. Nevertheless, having a hearty meal in bed makes the morning even more bearable given the tasks ahead of us. It also sets us up for the day as we are able to spend quality time together. You can take this moment to share your thoughts or plans ahead.
2. Watch the sunrise
As most of us work from home these days or say, go to the company at a later time, this is something we can do first before anything else. Catching the sun rising over the horizon through our window or the balcony is just the most romantic and calming experience a couple can do. And of course, with some café latte to further enjoy the amazing vibe. It’s one of my favorite things to do as a couple.
3. Have a quick stroll outside

My partner and I are fond of taking a brief walk to a nearby park or hill. We mostly do this in the early morning. That way, we get to enjoy the morning air and ponder upon our daily plans as well as our own work ahead. Nothing compares to the joy we feel knowing that we did something together, may it be as simple as taking a walk.
4. Cook together
This is something special for me, most especially if done with my partner. Since we started practicing a minimalistic lifestyle, we thought that cooking our food together does not only promote such a lifestyle but also brings us much closer to each other.
5. Work out together
Working out alone is just lonely, wouldn’t you agree? So, why not drag our partner into this and start an exercise program. Oh, I just love that we are on the journey of getting physically and mentally fit together. This is quite helpful as when we get in a slump or if we are not in the mood to exercise, we have someone to push us to get up and stretch our lazy bodies.
6. Keep tabs on each other
When we check in on our loved ones, we focus on feelings or personal struggles. We ask them how they are feeling or doing at the moment. The daily practice of checking in creates more intimacy, deepening our love for each other. By doing so, we likewise help them unload whatever it is that bothers them.
7. Send sweet nothings
There is nothing sweeter and funnier than teasing our partner in the loveliest of ways. Beeping our beau with super cute things will always remind them of how much we love and feel fortunate to have them in our lives. So, send your boyfriend or girlfriend your original love quote now and brighten his day.
8. Plan together
There is a reason why people say “two is better than one.” That is especially true when you are in a relationship. May it be for short-term or long-term goals, make it a habit to include your partner in it. It is imperative that both of you are on the same page; that both of you know where you are heading.
9. Surprise your partner with some dinner or gifts
Having a long day at work is nothing as compared to the happiness you feel going home and receiving a surprise dinner, all thanks to your thoughtful partner. We know how tough it is to have a busy day and so doing something small for our partner helps to lighten his/her mood.
Bring some love and surprise to your relationship through Bold Loft. They offer super fun, unique, and cute gifts for couples. Gifting your partner is an expression of love and a great opportunity to celebrate things and be reminded that how great it is to be in love. They have ample selections perfect for anniversaries, Valentine’s day, weddings, birthdays, and many more.
10. Hit the sweet ol’ music and dance
Channel your dancing skill with your partner. You can do the classic waltz or the daring tango or salsa or the simple slow dance. Whatever makes you tick, do it. Release that love hormone in your body as you dance along with your sweetheart. It keeps the fire burning, I promise.
11. Sing together

We may sing to different tunes but we just love the fact that we get to do this without judging each other. Go for your most-like love song, that song that reminds you of your special moment together, and sing it. Plus, it is an amazing way to relieve ourselves of the stress we inevitably experience on an occasional basis.
12. Play some musical instrument
Put your piano, or guitar skill to use and serenade your partner. It is a whole new level of a romantic experience I know. Don’t know how to play any instruments? No problem, there are tons of sites out there to learn from.
It is undoubtedly one sweet gesture to incorporate playing some instruments into your routine as a couple. Even cleaning them together is not a bad idea. Do you play the flute? You can click here to learn how to keep it clean. I suggest you take your relationship to the next level by adopting this, too because these little activities together help in building a great relationship with your partner.
13. Appreciate your partner
Appreciation is an act of love and respect for our partners for the things they do for us, however small or big they may seem. Letting them know that we are sincerely grateful makes them happy and special. That then urges them to go on and face their day in high spirits.

14. Be physically affectionate
One of the five languages of love is physical touch. It does not need to be extra intimate but it can be just as simple as holding each other’s hand or embracing. Nothing beats snuggles in the morning and in the evening, before going to bed. If you dare to be playful, you can try out sex games for couples too by going here.
The Game of Love does its best to bring you affection to your partner. It’s a new product and online store for couples and it’s bringing fun + games back into your relationships! It can be easy to get into a bedtime rut- cell phones, computers, and e-readers have our attention, but our loved ones… not so much. It makes me excited to say that The Game of Love has a super fun solution to help us break up with our bedtime routine and be affectionate instead.
15. Discuss and share a chapter of your current read
We both love reading which I’m rather happy about. Reflecting on them is another thing we do and we figure we do not need to ponder alone. So, we make it a habit to discuss at least one chapter of our favorite book a day together. It helps us see and appreciate things from different angles.
16. Share an experience you have for the day
There are times when we encounter something funny or entertaining or somewhat tragic while on our way to work or even while working. Sharing this with our partner will help us unload the worried feeling or make us both laugh if it is one funny story.
17. Play with your pet

Several studies show that playing with our pets gives us some kick. We get to share the love we feel for each other with our pet – our dog. And so take it from me, we both love doing this together. Sharing quality time with our pets seems like sharing quality time with our own family. And what can I say? I love fantasizing about us being a family.
18. Complement each other
We are aware that compliments are needed if we want a long-lasting relationship. It is another way of expressing how much we value our partners for what and who they are. Saying how handsome or beautiful they are boosts their happiness. Also, doling out a dose of daily affirmation helps them muster their strength and do their work with zeal.

19. Share a ritual
Sharing is caring, they say. Our skincare routine is much more fun when enjoyed with our partner. You can rub cream on his face while he lies down beside you. This is rather comforting and relaxing most especially if he is worn out from a day’s job. Try this one already and he would surely love being pampered.
20. Start a hobby together
Spending time together is one of the foundations of a happy relationship. Start with something that both interests you. You can try painting, gardening, blogging or composing songs.

21. Pamper each other
If we base our relationship on what we call mutual spoilage, we can go far beyond. It is sometimes a good idea to compete on who can be nicer. You can do this by occasionally preparing some strawberries for your partner or by giving them a cup of their favorite coffee. One more thing, you can’t go wrong with having some snacks prepared for them when they get home.
21. Watch a comedy and laugh together
The dopamine rush is the perfect definition of heaven! Who wouldn’t want to get pumped up by a comedic show most especially if shared with our partner? So, take a moment and log in to your Netflix and browse a movie. And, do not forget your popcorn.

22. Stargazing
Gratitude is due to our balcony and rooftop for giving us this idea and for giving us the space to enjoy such. Just lying down in the starry, starry sky, and gazing at those little, twinkling dots on the clear, night sky is our kind of night date. With our treasured song playing on repeat, we couldn’t ask for more.
23. Read a chapter to your partner before hitting the bed

Who says that bedtime stories are only for children? I beg to differ here. We can adopt this as one of our adult, couple activities, too. Listening to your partner’s voice is worth our while. It lulls us to sleep. If you are in a long-distance relationship, that is okay. You can go try this over the phone.
24. Scrabble
I have always been a huge fan of board games, scrabble in particular. One simple thing to add to our post-work routine would be playing scrabble. There is so much to learn when scrabbling with our partners. You get to be more patient while you wait for them to think of their next move.
25. Celebrate together with a glass of wine
Every day, there is always something to be grateful for such as getting a huge task done or merely completing a day at work. As simple as they may sound, these kinds of things deserve a glass of wine, and sip with our partner. Remembering to celebrate is the key to a more fulfilling relationship.

26. Give each other a massage
We all want to be pampered as often or as regularly as possible. Giving them a message on the head is always divine. It is a relatively simple gesture yet revitalizing towards our significant other. What’s more, it is a wonderful way to show them how much they mean to us. Check out Melt Massage Masterclass to learn how to do it. Pick a package that best suits you. Enroll in the course and experience how little massage can make a difference in your relationship. If your partner’s love language is physical touch, learning how to do great massages is a huge step to building affection and connection with him.
27. Have a couples foot spa
What better way to spend a moment of your time with your beau than having a foot spa together? You do not need to go to the salon to actually do this together. Go boil some water and grab a basin big enough for the two of you to soak your feet in. Nothing can beat such a soothing and warm foot spa especially if enjoyed together.
28. Send a funny video
You can choose to be silly sometimes. Amusing your partner with a goofy video from social media is quite the fun. You can do this while having a break from work. It would surely give him/her some boost of energy, exactly what they need to get through the day.
29. Crack some jokes
Humor is one of the staple ingredients to a happier relationship. If you do not have a sense of humor, that is perfectly fine. You are not alone. There is still hope for us. We can always go for dad jokes. Corny love jokes are good for a chuckle at all times. It allows us to goof around and feel young again.
30. Watch the daily news and “debate”
Now, this can be a little bit daunting because it could escalate and may even lead to an argument. But there is no need to worry about that. Having a simple dialogue over something as significant as the news keeps both of you updated. No need to have a heated discussion over such news by the way. Just merely share your standpoint and learn from each other’s point of view.
31. Play “Never have I ever””
I mean, why don’t you? You might have seen some videos of celebrities doing this online. Adopting it as a new couple activity is a whole new level of fun. We might think we got all things figured out with our partner. But believe me, we don’t. So, why not step up our game and quiz each other? I guarantee it would be fun.

I find it romantic strolling with my wife at night around the neighborhood. We do this more often now since that is our form of exercise.
